Home. Hurray! And other stuff.

We are home.  I’m grateful to be home and also grateful to be away.  I think I needed the break and hopefully I will be able to go on fresh.  I ended last year on a really down note and had avoided people most of the last few months because I was worn down and tired.

I spent an inordinate amount of time volunteering at school last years. Girl Child’s behaviour got worse whenever I tried to help her group with anything.  This year I’m not going to spend so much time at school – well unless they pay me.

I’m really hoping this year she will have a better year especially now that she sleeps through the night since she had her adenoids removed and then healed from the infection.  Of course while we were away she woke me tow of the 3 nights crying in her sleep.  She doesn’t remember why but I brought her into bed with me both times and she slept through until morning.

Maybe she cries most nights and at home our bedroom is too far away to here her.  I don’t know. I hope she doesn’t.  Thinking she does makes me sad.

Um.. next random thought.  I had been doing so well on the reducing my caffeine intake and upping the water I drink daily.  But while I was away I drank way too much caffeine and didn’t drink enough water.  We also ate way too much junk.  Way, way too much junk.

Tomorrow is another day.  Hopefully a better one, hopefully with less junk, caffeine and lots more water.  And maybe some exercise now my sunburn is just sun reddened and not painful anymore.

Oh yes, this post makes NaBloPoMo for January 2010 complete.  Yay another thing to have as in progress on my 101 list.

Congrats on January NoBloPoMo! I'm making (another) attempt with February. Short month so maybe I can do it!

I also drink WAY too much caffeine and not enough water, but I've found that it's easier for me to drink one BIG bottle of water then several small glasses each day!

Glad you enjoyed your time away!

Nice job with another NaBloPoMo! I sometimes think it's great to go on vacation just to remember why we love our home!
