Yes, they dressed up

So book week dress ups went well.  Girl Child went as Princess Charlotte from The Tiara Club.  the only issue was she couldn't find a tiara (and she has a few of ones she has made) so she made one before school.  Pity she decided to use glitter glue and there were still wet patches at 10 am.  But she had fun.  There were two Hannah Montana’s in her class, which I thought was interesting but lots of TV shows have books now.  There were no Ben 10 in Girl Child’s class Psych Babbler.  Just an assortment of pirates, cowboys, Star Wars and Transformers characters.

Apparently the majority of Boy Child's class dressed up as well.  And Boy was impressed when someone knew exactly what his character’s vest meant.  So both children had a good time, which is lovely.  Next year there won’t be dressing up for book week for Boy.  Well at least I don’t remember it being done at my  High School.

Mr E. is home now so I better go and chat to him before bed. Once again, Good night all.

That is kinda cool, dressing up as your favorite book character. I would love to dress as Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City, but I think I am too old for that!

Hehe...the Hannah Montana books came after the telly show...more ways for them to make money I suppose. Glad to hear the kids had fun. I thought Harry Potter would be a common one but I'm guessing not??
